Brinard, good luck with your large client! It may indeed take a while to close the contract – we are still formalizing the paperwork with an enterprise that contacted us in December (4 months ago) and it would probably take another month or two before we can proceed with the ongoing contract. But that is usually rewarding in the long run and – enterprises find it tedious to switch vendors and as long as you deliver high quality work, the contract may very well last years to come.

Really informative. I’m in the middle of a process with an extremely large client right now and this helps, especially the part about the timeline it takes to approve – important to remember that.
