Hey Steve,

Please don't ever hesitate to challenge me and throw in your opinion even if it is completely opposite to mine.

I actually get bored when nobody disagrees with me :)

I think the best way to learn is to thrash these things out and take away what works for you. You clearly have more patience with clients too.

Keep up the awesomeness.

If I take my car to two different mechanics and the price difference is large, I will ask both mechanics why? I think most people will, although most people tend to move mechanics rather than ask that question.. As a developer I prefer my customers to ask me questions, so that I can solve their problems rather than having them walk away because I have positioned myself out of reach... I have clients going back over a decade as a result of this.

Now I don't sell anything cheap, don't get me wrong and I am rarely asked about price... I own my space and the people that come to me quickly realize the value I offer ... however every so often someone will mention price and I'll answer them, not going over features and stuff like that, I never details feautures even in quotes ... but I'll state my experience and the results I have generated for past clients and what I can do for them... I will sell the space that I own and i will convert them, I look at questions about price this way... I want to work with you but have this other company with a good price, please convince me that you are worth the extra price and I will work with you. (I see it as an opportunity)

Oh and I am just sharing a difference of opinion, as you know I love you Troy... :) but just sometimes a difference of opinion is a good thing.
