Loved this episode. A ton of great insight.

I teach various music marketing courses via Berklee College of Music's online extension. Most of my days are spent teaching musicians how to optimize all their digital touch points (website, social network profiles, ad creatives, etc). One of the big parts of that is improving the visual aspect of all those items.

Would love to win a copy of David's book. A better understanding of design will help me be a better teacher as I'd be able to better critique, guide, and improve the visual assets of my students/clients and help them build sustainable careers through their efforts to engage with their fans and sell more music and merch.

I've been getting David's lessons in my inbox for ages, and I always enjoy them (even though I am a designer not a developer). I soak up everything I can learn about design, because I'm completely self taught. And I'm aiming to be the best designer in the world. The more I read and learn, the better I can communicate with my clients and my developer about the reasons behind my design choices.
