Yes, a great post with lots of actionable insights. I like the section on how to drum up blog content:

"The questions that your customers and leads ask inside the group are exactly what you should be writing about on your blog."

Its an approach that I'm looking to use myself, because as it turns out, people value the answers and advice more than opinionated comments. And that's a good thing, because it means that if I can increase my utility by providing answers that work, I'll also increase the chances of generating leads (that's what I think anyway).

I also like this:

"Instead of driving traffic from social media to your website, start driving cold traffic to your website from other sources. Then, continue sharing higher quality content with those who follow you"

There's a lot to be said for cold traffic, and that is one effective way to get them: inbound.

Finally, this:

"Don’t Try to Outsmart Human Nature"

No need to over-analyze that one. It is spot-on.

Hey Patrick! I'm sorry I missed this comment. I've read the conversation with Josh below (cheers for jumping in Josh!). Be honest with yourself and ask "are the people who like this page going to find the new direction useful?"

Unless you're talking about hundreds or thousands of likes, I would think it's OK to just change the direction. People can always unsubscribe if they like.

Glad you liked the post

That said, if you plan to keep both operations running as two separate brands, then I would create a new page.
