I'm serious about building an audience of people who are genuinely interested in the content that I produce.
So I've rewritten the welcome e-mail that people receive when they subscribe to the Agency Mavericks blog or podcast and I thought it might be interesting to share it.
So here it is. When you subscribe to our blog or podcast this is the first e-mail you will receive:
Hey [Your Name],
You have successfully subscribed to the Agency Mavericks blog.
I know how it goes. You sign up for loads of stuff on the internet and most of it is rubbish.
So let me make this perfectly clear:
- if you do not make money (or want to make money) using WordPress as your platform of choice, unsubscribe right now
- if you already have a high-six figure business building WordPress based solutions I probably can't help you, so unsubscribe right now
- if you are not interested in building a solid business to support the lifestyle you want without all the hype and crap you usually get on the internet, then unsubscribe right now
See, I don't want to waste your time or mine.
I am committed to helping WordPress entrepreneurs build successful businesses so they can have fun, live their life and achieve everything they deserve.
If that's what you want, then I will give you my best. No fluff, no cheesy gimmicks, no lame software that promises to rain money on you.
I will send you emails frequently – usually a few times a week – with episodes from our podcast, blog posts, invites to webinars and other useful information and motivation.
If at anytime you don't feel like you are getting value from my emails, you can always click the unsubscribe link and take yourself off the list.
Oh, and if you entered the wrong name or misspelt it when you signed up then that's what I'm going to call you from now on because yes, I use email software. Feel free to email me and I'll update our database if you want to change your name.
Finally, you probably already know that we make the Video User Manuals plugin and we run Agency Mavericks, both of which are paid products. At some point I will suggest that these products are a good idea for you. If you don't want to buy them, just ignore my suggestions and carry on.
