Number 78: Read The Referral Engine. The Referral Engine is a fabulous book by John Jantsch, the author of Duct Tape Marketing. The Referral Engine will help you turn your business into a referral engine. Referrals don't just manifest automatically out of thin air.
There are processes and systems that you can put in place to actively generate referrals from your clients. They may not necessarily be what you think they are. In fact, there are some ideas in this book from John that absolutely blew my mind and have totally changed the way I go about generating referrals.
So, idea number 78 here is if you want to really elevate yourself above the pack, read The Referral Engine and start fine tuning your business to create high quality referrals into your business.
