Number 88: Send your client an Evernote. You know if I'm out and about, and I discover something that might be useful for a client, if I come across an article in a marketing magazine, or I hear something on Talkback radio or I see something in the media, or I discover another website, or some piece of news, or some development that might be useful for a particular clients business, I send them an Evernote. I just make a note of it, and then I email it to the client.
It takes, you know 30 seconds to do something like this, and it shows my client that I'm thinking about them. That I care about their business, and that I care about their success. And it also shows that I'm at the top of my game using this new technology, this cloud based note taking technology like Evernote to keep in touch with them.
It introduces them to new tools. It's kind of fun and fascinating for them. I've turned up to meetings before and people have said, “I can't believe you sent us a note you know, every, couple of times a week with updates, and things that are happening, and we love getting those little updates.”
The fact that it comes from Evernote introduces them to these new tools, and they really appreciate it. So number 88 is send your client an Evernote to show them you care about their business, and their success.
