How Was Business Before Agency Mavericks?

It was okay, but I knew there could be a lot of fine tuning. Life in a business sense was probably a lot more hectic, seemed unscheduled and a little bite more stressful –  probably doing work that I didn't particularly feel like I should be doing or wanted to be doing. 

How Did You First Discover Agency Mavericks?

I think the language resonated, so I knew I'd get a lot out of it. It seemed like an extension of a lot of the stuff that Troy had been talking about, and I probably had been getting in snippets here and there and implementing haphazardly before hand. It looked like it was all coming together in one nice package, so I wasn't hesitant at all to join. I was really excited, but I needed some outside help. Working in isolation is sometimes, you just know that you might not be doing things as well as you could be, and you're not quite sure where to get the help from. I'd looked at a lot of different things before WPE.

I was very close to signing up to doing an MBA, but for the expense of it and the time commitment –  and I just didn't know how relatable it would be for me and my business. It was almost like, “I might do this, and then go on and do something else”. Then Troy's class came up. That was exactly what I needed, and I thought, “Yeah. Give it a go. Yeah.”

How's Business Since Agency Mavericks?

More money which is great. Less stress, and doing the work that I want to be doing. I think it's a bit of a mindset as much as anything else, as much as the technical help. I think the greatest part of it is changing the mindset and putting the power back to my side rather than the client's side;  just doing the work that I enjoy doing and making more money from it because I'm better at doing it and better at managing it.

I'm happier, and my clients are happier. I'd say, basically, simply, more money and less stress.

What's The Best Thing About Agency Mavericks?

I think each section of the course is immediately implementable, so as I do each lesson, I can take that and start using it straight away. I don't have to do massive changes from my end or changes to the way I do business. I can just take these little things and implement them straight away, and they start to make a difference. They are there and they're coming. That took 10 minutes to set up, but made a difference immediately from day one. It just meant more time from my side, dealing with stuff I shouldn't be dealing with and focusing on stuff which is of higher value, and I can make more money from.

Why Should People Join Agency Mavericks?

I would just advise them to do it because it's low cost, particularly compared to what you can expect to return from it. It's very easy to do. I would just say do it without hesitation.

Just do the course, yes. Yes, it's probably, as well, the first time that I'm really enjoying just doing what I'm doing, and I can see a clear path forward for being better. It's just very easy. It's no longer mystical or magical. It's just a very, very easy path forward to doing better things, and doing work that I want to do rather than wasting time on stuff that I don't want to be doing.
