Thanks for having me Troy! Was a really interesting interview 🙂
What a great interview with Alex WPelevation comes roaring back to form!
Alex had some great insight and seems to a be a giver to the WordPress community and isn’t just a seller but also a giver.
I will look at his company framework today.
Great interview with another inspiring developer and entrepreneur.
I have changed my business over the last year and the one thing I changed wasn’t necessarily a process or tool, it was my mindset. I have been coding html, css etc for years, but have only been using WP for about 2 years. I started using it exclusively about 1.5 years ago and have not looked back.
When I first started using it exclusively I felt like I wasn’t good enough to charge what I was worth for the sites that I was creating. After seeing other peoples work online, listening to podcast, and reading articles online I decided it was time to change that mindset!
I evaluated the VALUE I was bringing to my clients and realized that not only was it a wonderful solution to their problem, but also that I was a “professional”. This change in my mindset gave me the confidence to change my rates and helped me to grow my business.
I must also say that I had my lovely fiancé (very soon to be wife!) to support me and help give me this much needed confidence and validation.
Another great podcast – and with a fellow Brit who is just along the A55/M56 from me 🙂
Alex, your energy is engaging and inspirational. Thank you for sharing so much.
The biggest thing that was broken in my business a year ago was me! My membership of WPE has given me so much more than nuts and bolts business advice. It’s also grown my confidence. As members we have been given challenges and the opportunity to rise and meet them. It has been transformational for me and my business.
I’ve astonished myself with the progress I have made. The mouse is learning to roar!
This interview has given me a lot of food for thought (and eventual action!) too.
Thank you again.
Congratulations Dee! Alex has awarded you the prize! Thanks for your comment and thanks Alex for a great prize!
Crikey. Thank you so much. This is absolutely brilliant. What a wonderful way to stay the week. Can you tell I am thrilled? 🙂 Thanks again for the podcast and thanks to Alex for choosing me.
